That Others May Ride
Veteran Outdoor Adventure Therapy & Mental Health Nonprofit
“…My time with TOMR was exactly that, the thing that is missing. The opportunity to be completely yourself no reservations, surrounded by the only people who can understand. This is the real therapy.” -Travis, USAF
That Others May Ride (TOMR) is a veteran-founded 501©(3) nonprofit dedicated to veteran mental health and rehabilitation through outdoor adventure therapy. We organize multi-day dirt bike expeditions across the American West for veterans struggling with PTSD, the transition to civilian life, and the emotional isolation that follows military service.
TOMR is one of the only veteran nonprofits in the country using dirt bike therapy — structured off-road riding as a form of outdoor adventure therapy for veterans. The combination of physical challenge, focus, and brotherhood on the trail produces real, measurable improvements in veteran mental health. If you’re looking to donate to a veteran mental health program, TOMR puts 100% of your gift directly on the trail.
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among veterans under 45. We’re fighting that statistic — one ride at a time. Your donation to this veteran charity provides a unique form of outdoor therapy: purpose, adversity, and brotherhood on the trail. This is veteran PTSD therapy without a waiting room — just open desert, brotherhood, and the sound of engines.
100% of every dollar donated goes directly to supporting a veteran’s ride. We are a zero overhead veteran nonprofit — $100 covers fuel and meals for one veteran on a 5-day ride. Your donation makes a direct, measurable difference.
